Yeah...every now and then (not often) you hear something and think..WHAT IS THIS????
Something so fresh and new...I was really totally blown away by Kraftwerk in those days.
I remember I heard 'Autobahn' (the 7inch-version) when it came out, but I must have been...10(?) and it didn't work for me. (Guess I was more into Slade and Mud ! )
A few years later I met someone who became my friend and he introduced me to a lot of alternative music.
For instance, he played 'Autobahn' (the longgggg album-version!) and the rest is history....

I didn't get introduced to Kraftwerk 'til "Computer World", but I was still hook'd by it. I'd been listening to stuff like Joy Division, Magazine, Gang of Four, Ultravox, The Church, OMD, Wire, Television, Cabaret Voltaire, Psychedelic Furs, Killing Joke at the time so it just made sense.
