Great track - cool atmosphere. Loved the audio snippets near the start, and the droney bass. Nice balanced mix. Good job Subtronik.

Yes Sub, you did it again...a track with which it's impossible to remain seated... BTW...I think the audio quality has become better....not sure at this moment, listening with cheap PC-speakers now...

Glad you liked it. I love those weird snippets too. The droning bass is from my kurzweil k2000 which I hardly ever use anymore. Thanks much for commenting.

If it moves you, then I'm happy
I'm working hard these days for the best sound quality possible, little tricks here and there. Thanks for the kind words.

I fixed some things I had issues with so it now sounds better. Re-download if you'd like.

nice beginning - that droney bass ROCKS! I'm also really liking the electro blips - works great w/ that bass.
Interesting change at 1:18 - don't shoot me for this... but I think a cowbell or at least something percussive, short and high pitch accenting the rhythm in this section would work well
trippy background sounds in that 2:00-2:40 section - sounds almost like time stretched vocals.
the 3-3:30 section felt like it needed something melodic to carry the section.
cool ending too - like you tore apart the audio - I just wish the droney bass came back
Bueno!

Awesome beginning! Man that is the coolest thing I've heard from you - that first 1:18 mins. The bass is really something... after that I think it got a little ordinary. The density of things to listen to drops off and when it picks up, it's like the emotional intensity has been lost. Sudden changes in layer density do weird things that are sometimes unrecoverable.
So, I'm kind of with Gid on this one. But man that first minute was spooky cool. So major props!

Seriously though, I appreciate the advice but the track is finished
Glad you liked it Gid.

This is a first, I don't think you've ever commented on anything I've produced.
I agree the first minute is the most intense part of the track but I think the entire track is far from ordinary. Thanks for commenting.

Haha... this is NOT the first track I've commented on of yours!
And I meant ordinary in the really good regular Subtronik kind. Not like a stuff you find on the web ordinary. Pile on the layers and the intense beats, the droning tunes... I'm just suggesting that you do more of the intense layering you did here again. At least I'm saying I would definitely enjoy that! That's all... kudos to you again.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I'm thinking of going in this direction more often now that I have a system to use.

Nice track, agree with the comments about the start...thats a fantastic intro, love the sliding electro bass and percussive electro blips. Also like the hihat rhythm when that kicks in, nice build up. The change is cool when that descending bass section kicks in...sort of agree with previous comments that perhaps the track could go elsewhere after that...but then I'd say that with stuff I hear from people like Orbital, or somebody else commercial. I say Orbital because this track reminds me a bit of them, just evocative, not a soundalike! I'm getting a retro feeling with this track, its got shades of all kinds of electronic industrial influences all over it, but none that I can place off the top of my head Basically, its a great track, and I agree with Fourier's comment about it being a nice balanced mix...yep it is! Nice one
Cheers, Pete

Love your in depth reviews Peter.
I don't have a problem being compared to other artists btw, as long as it's not country.
Thanks a lot for this.

I like the beard - i think it looks cool.
Not as cool as the cowbell however.

I dig the reverbed fx~ Great panning. Very captivating~~ Something about the distorted synth at 36 seconds makes me go 'eh?' because when it does the 32nd noted creshendo it has kind of a lagged feel to it... But the more I listen, the less I agree to that statement. Something about that synth on the attack isn't making it for me on the downbeat...
It's kinda hard to know what I'm talkin about here at 4:20am -- I better'd get to sleep if I'm getting back up in less than four hours.
Very cool subs.

(listen to it in slo-mo with windows media player!! it sounds even cooler)

4:20 eh?
The lag is imaginary, I've heard it too. I'll check the slo-mo thing soon. Thanks for checking it out and commenting
And for those interested, I edited this down some, giving it a better flow overall.
