My music machine won't even come on now. I am really starting to hate PC's. I just seem to have endless bad luck with them. You get 10 months of use out of them and then it's back to the store. The thing came out of the store 'fixed' last time something went wrong, with me having to press ctrl-alt-del to get past the welcome screen and no working disk drive. If that's fixed then I'm a token bloke.
I am sick of using a PC as a musical instrument. Maybe I should try a mac next if I can afford it.

Well, various macs I've been around have frozen up more often for me... but I'm just one person.

I'll probably stick to PC for now at least until I'm richer
I may just be avoiding a certain PC store in future
I always find this PC crash thing very.... um.... humbling. I just have to accept that I may lose some work and that the music is inside of me and that's what counts.
I so want to write a fucking tune though I have writer's block for ages, get a bit of creativity and then *bang*

There are perfectly decent older models of Macs available on Ebay, sometimes even with preinstalled music programs such as logic.

I've had problems with my homebuilt PC before, but the last time I had to do something major to it was at least a couple years ago.
The last problem it had was the cpu fan started making noise. I replaced it and all is well.
The fact that it's a PC doesn't mean it's going to break all the time.

Ok, get this, everybody... My friend fixed my computer last night. Today my dad's car wouldn't start at all. It didn't make a sound. It was running fine yesterday. I mean, WTF? My computer is fixed and now the car has broken down and will take a week because they're busy?! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to get the out of my head and onto a hard drive before I go berzerk

I've had problems with both mac and pc and prefer pc.
Anytime I have problems with my pc, such as slow booting, crashing, or error messages I just google the problem and find a fix within minutes.
Where you living these days sendy? UK, USA?
