4 Turbogeek tracks from 2000 released
Created on: 11/17/06 08:51 AM Replies: 7

I noticed that there were a few Turbogeek tracks on my computer that were not on the site, so I just uploaded 4 tracks from the Turbogeek recordings, which happened in 2000.

They're all a bit experimental, and not the best tracks from that project, but I'm sure some people may enjoy them.

Dianext [tgremix] - 04:36, 4.42mb , 128kbps

a trippy remix of an aem track - recorded back in 2000

Watchit [tgremix] - 06:41, 6.42mb , 128kbps

orig by Nocturne - this remix is a bit too bass heavy, and not the good kind of bass, but the boomy bass. Nonetheless, it's a cool track, give it a listen. Recorded in 2000.

And In This Corner - 07:14, 6.95mb , 128kbps

a crusty drifty terxtural thing from 2000

Yea... I like the remixes a lot but my fav is And In This Corner.

It's like Woah WTF!?

Soundz bouncing all over the place, a very dark feel to it. Cool, right on.

Great stuff!!

Watchit is great. somehow reminds me of the old ES days...totally a tune that would have ended up on one of my Big Side Left (rip Earshot)/Crelm/Danny K/Mercurial personal compilations music...

In fact, I shoud toss one of those on right now..the one I'm thinking of has that Sonic Wallpaper/Gentle Jones track.

anyway, good vibes in that track man!

Thanks guys Smile

I think "And This Corner was mainly built from tweaking loops in Granulab, either live or to Wav, then re-arranged. I can't recall - but I do remember making the track.

Have you used that app before? It's free and fairly easy to use - you just have to work with it for a while to learn the sweet spots - and how to avoid crashing it.

so you like Watchit doof? I dig that one too, I just wish the mix wasn't soo boomy. I think it's a remix of an old tune by Nate.

I listened to it on little headphones, so that wasn't an issue for me Smile

I didn't think there was anythin' wrong with the bass on Watch it.

Good tune. Almost cacophonic at times but that's part of the deal methinks. Good stuff Smile

It definitely reminds me of the days when electronic music seemed somehow more limitless...

Whatever that means... crazy
I will teach you the significance of insignificance
