funny video - and I agree w/ the end - the only way really do it - is to get out there and perform, meet fans, hook up with other bands and artists to do shows together and introduce your fans to each other. While the Web is a great way to share music - only 1-2 acts per year are able to bust out beyond the hobby stage just on Web promotion alone. Unfortunately - those 1-2 acts are usually pop music.

bummer ArtistServer didn't make it in there - but he did mention artistopia.com - which ranks just as high as we do.

I was surprised he included Tagged - he also included TagWorld - which doesn't host music any longer nor have the widgets they used to offer.
