Fourier - wish his tracks were still here

I made a big indie electronic artist playlist last night and have been listening to it for hours. I've been blown away by how many great songs have been shared/posted to our site over the years. Amazing music that I want the whole world to hear.
Over the hours, there has been three times where I had to stop working and check out who I was listening to... and each time, it was Fourier Wave Device. DAMN GOOD MUSIC!
So I click over to ArtistServer to see what he has left on his artist page, and unfortunately found nothing I'm sure people have their reasons for taking their tracks down, but all I can think about, is how people are missing out on great music.
I just checked his site: http://www.fourierwavedevice.com/ and see he has 5 songs for download - grab them now people, as you never know when a song will vanish from the Web. I also see he has a CD that has been available since 2004, which is probably why he took his tunes down. If you don't have those tracks - get the CD, the songs are top quality.
Glenn - if you are out there... I'm still loving your music I hope you are well!

I've got quite a few tracks of his on my computer as well. I agree, great music! I love the older stuff. Liverpool Street, The Angelis Layers, and Aftershock are my favorites.
Most recent track: Tecknixia - Technology 2009 Version Strm Dnldnonzerosumgain.freeforums.org

Your wish is granted! At least for 5 tracks, as it appears I am not allowed to upload any more than that
Omg I can't believe these tracks are now 8 years old.
Gideon & Lou - I see congratulations are in order! What else have I missed?

Wow! How about that! I need to wish for things more often
Thank you for sharing your music again - I appreciate that you took the time to do this, and I hope new people come to enjoy your tunes as much as I do.
Yes, 8yrs! It won't be long, and the site itself will be 10yrs old. I think the ideas behind the site were already brewing 10yrs ago, and I started developing in 2000, and launched in 2001. I guess it's a good thing that we never grew huge over the years, so many sites that did have already vanished.
As for the 5 song limit - that's the max number of songs on a Freeware account. The account upgrade is $40/yr still, which increases that to 300, which is good enough for everyone except Wintermute, who is the only one who has maxed his account. I about to do a system upgrade - once it is done, I'm going to raise the Freeware accounts up to 10 songs. This should happen in the next 2 weeks.
Thank you for the congrats, yes, we are happy parents now We've been having a great time watching him grow and learn. He's 13wks old now.
I hope all is well with you, and thanks again for stopping by and uploading your tunes.

Well you must be living in the land of no sleep about now, if memory serves me right! My little guys are 9 and 6 now - not so little any more really
Wrt electronic music, I have to admit that I haven't been excited by any electronic music I've heard for a long time now. A terrible thing to say really. Maybe I'm just getting old. I bought myself a brand new Virus TI a few months ago but it just seems to be gathering dust in the front room. I finished my Ph.D. a while back and I'm a "professor" now, so guess I have other priorities.
You should have a 10th birthday party, and all the old people should come back!

Fourier!!
Very cool on the finishing the Ph.D. Virus gathering dust... very understandable but... *weep* I do hope you get back to music at some point... especially now that the Ph.D. is done?? You are by far one of the most original and creative artists I have heard.. especially in Trance. I will always remember the first time I heard "Newfoundland"--a truely "progressive" trance piece.. right up there with PPK's Resurrection and BT's "Flaming June' in my book. Not that it is anything big but that song and L.P.'s "Kitchen Sync" are the only remixes I ever wanted to do/did my nearly whole tens years of making music... And that is not to say by any stretch of the mind that means "lucky" you but it I am normally so "consumed" in my own music that if I ever even get a lot of time to listen to others music, let alone remix it But really "Newfoundland" blazes such an amazing landscape of musical actual and potential, that it is something I still go back and "explore"--I don't release everything I work on.. ;)--from time to time...
I hope too hear more FWD in the future
