Hi guys, I'm still alive
Well, I'm a little different now. There's more of me you could say ;). I had a big break from music but now I am feeling very creative, like I did before puberty. The above mp3 is not entirely finished: I'd appreciate any mixing advice. Already the background synth that comes in at 1 min is a bit too 'blatty' and I may also extend the last peak. Not sure.
So how have things been?

Alex

Fixed. Forgot the WWW.
The song style is sid-inspired cute/drill-step. Or whatever.

Haha!! Absolutely love the vibe detail flowing with the synth. Glad you're back- I needed to hear something fast & gamey again. Heavy emotion, great breaks; what more could we ask for?

Glad you like it Thanks for feedback. Where would I be without Kylo?
How was the mixing? My left speaker cone is starting to fall apart at the edges which means it makes the bass rattle sometimes. It's getting worse... Oh, the life of the impoverished artist...
While I'm here, I'll post some pics from the last 3 month visit with my boyfriend.

The mixing is incredible. It is always the first thing I think other people think about when they hear a set of your compositions; they are highly emphasized on a certain frequency of change and progression. Melodically, it really pulls out to be unique in this one for me. I can definitely tell this is a really good one for you, and it's still not done.

Finish! You've got the powa!

good to see you back in action sendy! is it okay that I still call you that?
I like the tune and especiall the nice filter work (I'm thinking about the bass in particular). this is a real complete tune and the arrangement and progressions are so well done.
the music sounds happy and free!

I think there is a pop song hiding in there somewhere - so my favorite parts of this piece is when the "popness" peeks through. And it is strongest when a smokey jazz flavor kicks in, like on the fade.

Hey Sendy! You are a sexy diva these days! So are those real now? <runs away quickly after inappropriate question>
I'm guessing that's not the Isle of Wight behind you, unless it's changed considerably since I was last there. Are you this side of the pond now then?
I'll listen to the track tomorrow, when there's no danger of waking everyone up here.

production sounds awesome on this track! Nice job. It sounds like a really nice synthesis of your classically inspired stuff and your older drill and bass stuff. Nicely done. Nice to hear new music from ya!
