Hey guys, I forgot to mention that my Aunt is a numerologist in Sanfran and she has this very entertaining program here: http://www.sfnumber.com/star/star/index.php
Every word that's come from her for me is pretty damn accurate, so give it a shot and try yourself, she also does tape recordings for people that would like to know their 'purpose' and life goals etc.

Numbers NUMBERS.... WHAT DO THEY ALL MEAN!? I was hoping I could do all of you guys before I made this message and tell you all about 'yourselves' kinda thing, but of course I don't have the ages of you all. I have Gideon's though due to knowing his B-day not too long ago...
The number 8 in Gideon's star implies that he has excellent Administrator/Executive functionalities. Authoritative, protocol-oriented, organized, far-sighted, self-confident. A lot of the number 8 which is a great number to get by- it's the number of accumulation of wealth. Artistserver is in good hands.

the number 8 is very important to the Chinese - something I learned recently.
Numerology is interesting - and while some of the attributes that come from a numerology reading are often true for a person, I still have to wonder about the history of the attributes/ideas that have been ascribed to the various numbers.

THX- the 22 and 24 destiny is found (if I remember correctly) a lot in 'celebrety type' stars... just thought you should know that. 
And yes, numerology goes waaay back I believe 'before' astrology and the zodiac, but usually a reference such as more than a thousand years ago is usually hard to trust as the ideas become more hazy with age and change of communications etc...
Also brings up the idea: What was the first instrument ever to be played?
Common sense here- I think it's percussion oriented, but if you ask someone that plays a woodwind, they beg to differ... (jackass) hehe... I mean, come on- really what is easier to do, pick up a freakin rock and hit it against a hollow log, or to carve the inside of a bone and carefully use your 'cromagnum man' hands to chisel tiny holes spaced out evenly.
I know austrolopithicus was a scavenger, but I would have to believe that even jumping in place in a group was a retarded form of instrumentation- Come on...

I might also add that THX's star is a very very good combo as I have just read up on. A good combo for popularity and money. 
Number 22: the innate power to available to effect self-mastery, accumulate wealth, and even become famous! Exceptional perceptivity, intelligentz, strong moral values, and ethical princibles are some of the masterful qualities that those who have this destiny number possess.

I'm working on getting some astrophotography here soon, I'm just waiting for these currently obnoxious stratus clouds to GO AWAY! They covered me up yesterday too and I didin't get to see the Mercury transit. Although THX reminded me of SOHO program at NASA which then I took a look. btw, thanks man.
It's amazing how perfectly spherical planetoids can be at a distance. http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/hotshots/2006_11_06/ Okay, and I'll also admit that seeing something on the sun that looks like a sun spot is a little bit boring, but hey- it's mercurial.

Why yes I do happen to have a Lunar Planetary Imager! (LPI) My camera battery is currently drained but I'll show it in a bit. As for the photos of nebulae & sheet like that, I'll be definitely posting shots that I am proud of grabbing from the blackness.
I'm just waiting oh god waiting for this rediculous overcast to go away for at least one night...

I just read we're going to have a wonderful Leonid Meteor shower this weekend, but the AS folks on the East Coast should have a better show.

That's right. Space Weather News just sent me this in an email:
Quote:Every year in mid-November, Earth glides through a veritable minefield of comet dust clouds. The source of the debris is Comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle. This weekend Earth will graze one of those clouds, producing a mild outburst of Leonid meteors.
If forecasters are correct, the outburst will peak around 0445 UT on Sunday, Nov. 19th (11:45 p.m. EST on Saturday, Nov. 18th). The timing favors observers in western Europe, Brazil and the Atlantic coast of North America, who could see as many as 100 meteors per hour. Dark skies are strongly recommended.
Of course the weather is going to be crap this weekend in these parts so no stargazing for us.
