OK... I don't normally do this sort of thing and the last thing I wanna do is rub folks the wrong way, but this has really touched a nerve with me and I feel very strongly about it.
You may have (but prob'ly not) heard about a young lad with CP who lives near Toronto could quite possibly lose his mini pony (Emily) becuase of a zoning (and nasty neighbour) issue.

It's rediculous that the issue has gone this far, but thanks to the media (and several online sites) a movement is afoot to help the family fight this injustice. The mother has created a PayPal account to accept donations (antoniaspiteri82@hotmail.com) if you are so inclined. At the very least you could tell others about it who might also be interested.
Fight the power and help Sam keep his pony...!!!

I just read the attached article, and sadly, one of the first thoughts I had was "My neighbor would do that." It's gotten to the point over here where one of our nice neighbors has just put their house on the market because they can't take it any more.
Did these cold hearted complainers never have a pony when they were little? Were they denied the love, joy and acceptance and have now grown up into these vindictive and hateful people they appear to be? "Odor"? You've got to be kidding me. I truly hope that they can get the appeal to keep the pony, but then what will it be? The neighbors have already complained about the firepit before they complained about the pony...I'm afraid they will just find another way to make the Spiteri's lives miserable.
So sad. But thank you for drawing out attention to the situation. I hope it all works out for him and Emily.
