Has anyone noticed a dramatic drop in stats lately? My download totals for May were 1214, 484 for June and only 68 in July. Is this a site-wide drop, or have people finally realised how shit I am? 
Drug use for children has for many an education and with obvious alarm to both parents on the increase almost yearly.

The drop was site wide. A developer created an Android mobile app that was pulling music from ArtistServer in an odd manner, It seemed to pull several songs down at once like it was trying to cache the data. These downloads would hit the site all at once, and as the mobile app became popular, it started locking up the site. I contacted the developer, and requested that ArtistServer be removed, which he complied. I have talked a bit with the developer and they offered to host copies of our music to serve to his users, but there needs to be a means to track the downloads and streams from that caching of music, otherwise, you would never know any thing about it.
So while we were seeing a growth in music downloads, this didn't convert into new site visitors or traffic on the site. While any exposure is a good thing, I still wonder about the value of serving music in environments where the music is separated from the artist and consumed without a means to get to the artist.
Ideally, we would have a budget to invest in more streaming services and see this as an opportunity for growth, but with nearly no revenue or budget, the only thing we can do is focus on ensuring that our site runs well for those who visit our site directly, as that is our primary service.
I'll conduct tests this weekend to verify that all means of streaming and download are properly tracked by the music logging process just to make sure there aren't any problems.

A-ha. I thought it might have been something like that causing the huge download totals. Ah well!
