Hey Gideon,
At the moment im still having big problems writing something new, i tell ya this year has been one big creative block for me. Each year i probably cobble together enough tunes to do maybe 2 albums of say 12 tracks each that are fairly decent. This year ive maybe done about 6 tunes id consider worth the grade and were in late august! I think im playing too many computer games and just cant be arsed sitting at the keyboard for hours on end writing stuff. Mind you what with GTA4 MGS4 Burnout paradise and UT3 its a wonder ive had any spare time at all to tune it up!

hmm from personal experience ive found it is always good to take a break from music. find other things to do.. for no other reason than to let your creativity recharge. the only danger is that you can wait to long to start making music again & decline in skill level..

In the last few days I have really been trying (with Gideon's help) to get my photo collection in order. I hope to post some new pics, and possibly a slide show, to AS tonight or tomorrow. My work schedule will soon be cut in half, and although that will not help us financially, it will give me an oportunity to focus a little more time on my art. My goal is to continue making cards with my photos and find a way to generate some income doing what I love. We'll see....

Thanks for the support!
I'm really looking forward to getting up in the morning and getting right down to 'work' with my pictures. We'll see where I can take this.

A ton of songs in the personal life, a ton of projects in the professional life, and a ton of radioactive elements in the half life.
I've been reaching some kind of threshold recently, something that indicates "hey schmuck! plan your friggin time better!" Fortunately, this coincided with a good old fashioned vacation during which I was able to relax and unwind for about a week and a half.
So now all I've got to do is catch up to where I was before I left and I'll be right back where I started, hopefully without quite so much tension and stress.
Here at Artist Server, I've done something that's a first for me-- take down a song in order to make room for a new one! I've just finished deleting the old song and loading the new one in another window, so I think now I'm going to go post about it in the "music" part of the forums.
The song, called "What Am I Doing??", is a smooth dance-type track with some raps thrown in for good measure. Really different from my usual style, but a fun listen.
