old mp3.com memorabilia

Hi friends,
A few of you may remember me from back in the day ... I still record & release records as "Captain Ahab" - but my forum posting has dropped off considerably within the past 5 years.
At any rate - I've moved recently, which (as it does) forced me to go through boxes and boxes of old shit I've collected. I'm paring down my CD collection and have discovered a ton of old mp3.com & ampcast CDs from back in the day. I'm probably going to rip most of them (since they're made from mp3s anyway who cares?) and there are a couple I'll keep (comps I was on or my own releases or whatever) but for the most part - I'm trying to part with things that I'm keeping for *only* sentimental or collecting reasons.
Does anyone have an interest in this sort of stuff? I have tons of old releases by cell, pneumatik (GABBER BITCH), CRELM, just john, yorky, hyperdriver, the 60 under 60 comp, etc etc etc
Not sure if there's a collector's market for mp3.com CDs yet (I don't doubt there will be - they're like the song poem discs of our generation) but I'm really not interested in being a fetishy collector. But maybe someone I remember from the day is? I'll basically just give all this stuff to someone I deem worthy if you cover shipping ... heh.
I even have a Hyperdriver hat I'll throw in.
Oh yeah. How is everyone? Good to see that this place is still active. I feel like I went through musical puberty here.

Yeah, I'm wondering where cell is.
Other names from back then, that weren't strictly 'lectronic: Dr. Tasty ("How Much Coffee Can One Man Drink?" and "Bigfoot's Got a Tractor') and Baptist Death Ray.

hey - noticed in another thread that some of you guys are really into battlestar galactica. In the final episode (coming up soon) I wrote some source "strip club" pieces ... so when you hear awesome techno in a strip club in BSG, it's me!

Hey, do you happen to have anything by 300 Baud? That guy dropped off the face of the earth for a few years, but I found him on Last.fm, and he says he's producing again. But I asked him if he could send me some of his old stuff, and he said yes, but hasn't done it yet.
This life is a joke, and nobody's laughing.

Dude, you had a couple of super awesome songs from back in those days, like "God Told Me To Become an Accountant" and "You Never Ever Ever". You should post some of those old things somewhere. Congrats on battlestar, you coming back to Portland any time soon? -Erik

I don't know if you'll get a chance to read this or not, but I don't think I've told you lately just how proud I am of you! You've done good, boy.
BTW...your last child support payment is late.

just wanted to resurrect this thread to point out that I just heard a Captain Ahab song on Caprica! in, like, an important scene!

slightly off-topic, but there you go.
