Nice, I want it.
Wish he would have ran some vocal samples through it though.

So what can it do to samples other than percussion, like vocals? Anything interesting?

O yes....apart from the inbuilt-library you can use ANY audiomaterial as long as it is in Recycle-format.....
So yes, vocals can be used...or bassguitars, or piano, or cello, didgeridoo, you name it...
I've been using Stylus RMX for years now and I can't live without it anymore. The update in the vid was a big surprise for me (and FREE!), but I still have to take some time and play around with the new features.....

I may be wrong but it just sounds like it's simply cutting various slices out in a musically intuitive way, or in other cases adding or substituting them.
Seriously, everything it did sounded like simple edits I've done in Cool Edit or with Midi sequencing - for example removing every 4th beat to create 3/4 (or of course you could remove the 3rd beat for a variation, etc).
I don't see much in the way of new territory being opened up here, though it would be useful in a live setting.
I will teach you the significance of insignificance

Yes, that's what it's about....and it sounds OK...
I haven't come across something similar which also sounds good....AND it's in realtime...(live performances!)
