ORIGAMI BOE

ACOUSTIC LAPTOPS

boxes with all sorts of tiny trivial objects attached inside, parodies on the "digital" laptops, and good-sounding as microsound-instruments.

Boe is a transmedia artist living in Gran Canaria off the coast of Morocco.

Originally from Norway, he has been running the Origami Republika open network since 1990, and partly is to blame what has been labeled the Trondheim-scene

(with Lasse Marhaug, Origami Republika etc...).

He has been involved on numerous recordings, and have collaborated with people such as Guido Huebner, Ronnie Sundin, Mark Spybey, Lee Patterson, Michael Gira, Mick Harris and many many more.

J.H [aka Ihokas, Pax Futile, Approximate, Nanook...] started making his musical excursions in the beginning of 90's.

Involved with Lumi Records he released music on their 3 infamous 12" vinyl compilations, which are now rare collector items.

He has released music on multiple labels, including his own Luumu label and he has made co-operation live gigs with Tatu J. Lund [aka Cytrus], Pessi Parviainen, Jarkko Lahti [aka Rihmasto], Sebastian Ziegler (GER), Dennis Tan [aka Sonic Kitchen] (SNG/GER) and Tatu Metsätähti [aka Mesak].

Music style is abstract ambient noise with a twist.
