This has elements from different styles like dnb, trance, breakbeat, and electronica.
Plus lots of bass for you bassheads:

Well put together track - lots of menace in the bass sound.
Just wish you had used the breakdown at the end of the song earlier - lots of neat sounds there.
This track would benefit from my James Brown scream sample
not an Obliminal thought in his head

Cool, glad you like the overall composition and bass.
As for the second breakdown, nothing new was introduced that wasn't already in the first breakdown. I just arranged everything a little differently in both areas. There is at least ten seconds of one new sound in the end outro though, maybe that's what you heard.
Anyways, thanks for commenting.

It's well put together, but you're playing it so very safe
I like the beat and overall production the most. And there's nothing wrong with just keeping the wheels turning until something amazing pops out.

Yeah nice but what the others said I guess. Some out-of-phase issues, especially at the beginning?

What's out of phase and in what time frame exactly?
If's there a mix issue I need to know so it can be avoided in future tracks.
Thanks for your feedback.

Subtronik - it's the drone bass sound at the beginning:

The left channel is doing pretty much the opposite of what the right is doing - easy to spot on headphones

Interesting.
The drone is an unedited sample straight out of spectrasonics atmosphere.

Ok, a couple of things.
I listened to 'Lust' on my sennheiser hd 600's and I think the drone sounds the same as on my mackie hr824's, which is good for me personally.
I checked out the drone by itself in wavelab and see the issue but I think it sounds fatter 'out of phase' opposed to in.
It's strange to me that noone here likes this piece because my wife and all my friends say this is my best track to date. I've also already been approached by a label to add this to a future compilation (no money though).
Personally I like this one, but it's not my favorite. The next few tracks I'm working on are darker and tougher.

It's pretty cool, I like the ambient sounding strings that play over the stuttering synth. THe bass is nice and menacing. It kinda just keeps going, and i was expecting something else to happen. Anyways, still a nice track, nice sounds, well put together. COngrats on the label interest. -erik

Yeah, it doesn't change much from the first half to the second.
Thanks for the reply.
