Iron Fist was something an unhappy ElectronicScene user once called me. For a few years I was considering using it as a new artist alias.
Lou coordinated with the family to get a single gift - a new acoustic 6 string. The acoustic I've been playing all these years is 19 now, and has some severe cracks down the face and the top is separating from the body. The new one is an acoustic-electric, has a built in 3 band EQ with adjustable mids, tuner, a loud and bright tone, and a cut-a-way - to allow for access to the higher notes, and it sounds amazing!

Still working today - but I'll take a few hrs off and hopefully work on some new music. 
The new guitar is quite inspiring, so I may be able to sit down and record a few of the acoustic songs I've written, and hopefully discover some new ones.
I actually got to pick out the guitar, they pooled together for the gift and I went down and tried out a few, then narrowed it down to two - playing the same piece on each guitar. The Yamaha seemed to really sing out - like it wanted to be played.

it would be helpful if I actually named the acoustic songs I compose, but ever since I stopped writing lyrics for them, the desire to name them seemed to vanish. I'll keep this title in mind

That was an awesome treat, and great timing, since I did not feel up to baking Gideon a cake.
Overall, I think he had a nice birthday. I wish I had felt better and could have helped him 'celebrate' a little more, but we're having a party this weekend and that should make up for it. 
BTW, Kylo...that kid looks like he's eating a pile of shit! OMG! Where did you find that pic? I hope that is not a family member I am slamming on...
