I just made some major changes to the code which handles our streaming and tracking of what has been streamed.
The response time should be quicker now - I've moved the tracking/stats code off to a different server, rewrote it, optimized the heck out of it, and made it an asynchronous process (so it happens in parallel with the request instead of 'inline' with the request).
I've tested this on my PC with Win media player and winamp, in addition to itunes on a mac (os X).
If you have troubles or see an error... please post
* what you streamed
* what kind of browser you have
* what you use for an mp3 player

looks like theres a few issues I need to work out on the new streaming code. Now that all streams are going through this code, the performance isn't as high as I was expecting. I'm fairly sure I know what the cause is, so I'll work on it.
If you feel performance is far worse than it was just a few days ago, I can toggle it back until I finish modifying this new code. Right now, it seems about the same as it was.
