Was a great time! These photos aren't even a small portion of what was there. I certainly don't want to ruin the exploring for Lou and Gideon when they come. 
My room mate Alfred makes me laugh by saying "It's Teletubby time!"

As soon as I saw these pictures I said to Gideon "The bastard WENT there!"  Was it everything you hoped it would be? Was it terribly crowded? Were all of the exhibits up? Were you disappointed by anything? Is this enough questions for you???  Very cool pics, btw.
I can't wait to go check it out!

But yes Lou- it was a long day of exploring. Freaking incredible ocean displays you can get lost in for hours. There were just a few exhibits that were "Under research" but that was in the renewable energy section of the museum.
They kept the really boring paleontology room- that's the only thing I never cared for. (I'm there to see live specimens dammit!)
It was all so amazing though, I can't explain it- one has to just GO and experience everything.
My favorite was by far the Morrison Planetarium just cause naturally I love that stuff. They wouldn't let me bring my camera in there though.
As for it being crowded- not bad at all!! on a scale of one to ten, it was a 5 because I payed 24 bucks to get in on a non-free day which is TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! Everyone I know around here says they're going to go on a free day...

We're going Saturday Nov 15, and I'm already counting down the days! We're taking the whole 'clan', so there will be 10 of us...what a day!
Thanks for posting the pictures and for giving me a rundown of your experience. I can't wait to go!!!! I'm most excited about seeing the aquariums and the rain forest exhibit.
