I love this place!
The feedback I got for Open from Danny K and Jeff Harrington made me go back and rethink my mix.
Many things fell away and created something that is ironically much more 'open' sounding than the orginal.
Big thanks to Danny and Jeff

welll thats sharp. nice bass. somewhat of an 'urban' sound to it. i could see this working as an intro track to an album, or maybe a lead-in to something more grand & elaborate.

heh, yea bass is easy to screw up in the mixing process. i almost always turn it up to loud.. my love for bass interfering with my better judgement...

Speaking of bass-- the poppy bass line in Nepo reminds me of warming up at the Drum Corps International competitions hearing all the other drumlines that were half a mile away. I did bassline & Tenors... I miss it... But I kind of don't miss the same old brass sound. That got boring after three years really.
I love the reverb Mike, this is really lovely to loop.
