There is a contest on Loud.com that promotes both the artist and the producer. Let me get down to the producing side because im just as hungry as yall. For producers all you have to do is sign up. Its a social networking site thats just like myspace. You upload your beats and then all of the rap artists on the site will go through all the producer beats and pick the ones to rap on. For this contest all the rapper has to do is plug in a mic to his/her computer and loud.com supports a virtual studio on the site. Really simple.. Its a good way for us producers to have songs recorded instead just having beats. The networking aspects is priceless also. Cool & Dre are judges and members of the site as well as other major's like Khaled, havoc, david banner, green lantern etc. Not only that, but whoever comes out as the winner on the producer side gets $15,000 and a production deal with SRC/Unviersal Motown. Also the site is FREE.. For more info goto.

In my opinion i'd rather do this than PMP. Not raggin on PMP, but this will have a better networking opportunity for the producers. As a producer it is important to have an artist that can eventually blow up Ie. Wiz Khalifa and johnny juliano. Quit trying to save your beats for the major's. You gotta be out their hustlin by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. Im gonna join this up.. It sounds like a great networking opportunity even if i don't win it.
Oh yea and for the rap artists.. The prize is $100,000.. so all you that spit. You better get on this
PS.. Beats cannot have samples.. But if you chop the hell out of it.. you may be able to get away with.. haha

Hi Phil - I noticed you don't have a profile on that site, which probably means you are on the loud.com team - it's quite obvious from your post. ;) The adoring fan routine never quite works when the motivation is business advertising.
>>Its a social networking site thats just like myspace.
I disagree, this Loud.com site is only about rap/hip hop, which would only appeal to people who like those genres of music. While I don't think very highly of MySpace, it is an open genre environment that appeals to a broad audience.
We have loads of talented producers here at ArtistServer, I'm not sure how many enjoy Rap or Hip Hop genres, but I'm sure the prize amount will attract a few.
Good luck with the site, I'm sure it will do well.

I removed your other post you made, promoting this contest - you can keep your promotion of this event to this thread, no need for multiple postings
I see you've been doing a lot of promotion for loud.com - you posted about it here and here and here and here and here and here and here - this last one isn't loading, but the cached copy at google is the exact same post as your first post above. You can see it here
