Did they say why?

AS was passed over on the first wave of my company's blocking of blogs and forums. So I guess SW is right, they must have seen me coming to AS during work hours and blocked it.

So its just home posting for me Anger - grrrrrr!

Man, I'm getting to the point where I almost "don't" get onto AS because I keep getting overloaded.

I should be sleeping right now. Sad

We're not allowed access to the computers where I work. Das computen machine ist nicht for gerfingerpoken!!!

Actually, that's not entirely true. We do have access to a computer, but it's a MVS console and we use it to connect to the AS400 in Toronto so we can grab the print jobs for the night, control the print queue, direct print, etc.... Text based, command string type stuff. Not very exciting. Rolling Eyes

We can listen to music if we like, on the ancient "ghetto blaster" they gave us, but you must bring your own (it must be shut off at 6:00am). I don't do that very often as it's way too noisey anyway what with two Xerox 4635 laser printers a IBM impact printer (plug your ears when you open the front of that baby) and a insertion machine all chug-chuggin' away all night. You have to raise your voice (effectively yell) to be heard by anyone, so conversations are usually kept to a minimum to save wear and tear on your throat. We're also allowed to read the newspaper, books, magazines but no internet. There is a desktop in the supervisor's office, but it's password protected.

Ah, da life of a workin' man, eh?

Laughing
