...and so one more year has passed and we find ourselves preparing for another birthday celebration! November the 11th will see us celebrating our 2nd birthday in style at a secret location up above the streets of East London.

Helping us to mark the occasion this time round will be the talented Miskate of Foundsound fame – currently described by Kompakt as “the hottest artist as far as experimental minimalism is concerned”.

Apart from co-running Foundsound and Unfoundsound and producing a couple of great eps with Someone Else, 2006 has seen Miskate produce a whole bunch of quality solo eps for labels such as Karloff, Microcosm, Einmaleins & Alphahouse.

In addition to Miskate, we are pleased to announce that we’ve managed to bring in long time friend Jerome Hill of Ugly Funk notoriety and Don’t Recordings head honcho.

We’re particularly honoured to have Jerome playing a special stripped down set of minimal grooves and techno just for us – something he’s wanted to do for a while and we can’t wait to hear the results! Expect old skool Dan Bell & Rob Hood style minimalism with a dark and wonky edge with some wicked bits of scratching thrown in for good measure.

Jerome is best known for cutting and scratching his way through an array of electronic music with sets taking in everything from ragga and house to wonky techno and electro with each set tailor made to the occasion whether that be warehouse parties in London or clubs all over Europe where he has played alongside world class talent such as Richie Hawtin, Neil Landstrumm and way too many others to mention. You can also keep an eye out for his blinding remix of J-lab – out soon on the Motronic netlabel.

Further dj support on the night will be provided by run residents Chris Box and Russ Skellon.
