We had the EXTREME pleasure of meeting Kylo today as he stopped by to see us on his way to Texas. 
I really appreciated the detour and only wish our visit could have lasted longer. I'm also sorry we didn't get any pictures of all of us together, but I hear Kylo took some of him and Gideon.
Kylo, I hope that once you have reached your destination and had time to relax that you read this and know how much I truly enjoyed meeting you. And Miles loved you, which is huge.

I think we were too busy visiting and talking to remember to get out our cameras.  After I went back to work I think Kylo took some pictures of he and Gideon together...but not me.  I suppose we could ask Kylo to post one of those once he gets himself situated at his new digs. It was a fun visit...and Kylo really is as nice in person as he appears on the bboard. 
We really should plan some sort of annual ArtistServer party and see who could make it each year.

yeah - we had a nice time hanging out. I wish he could have stayed for a few days.
He took 2 photos of us - one of them was a cool shot pointing up the street at ground level.
We always have an open door for ArtistServer members and artists - if you are going to be in San Diego, let us know, we'll hook up. 
And yes - I think we should start planning some type of annual party/gathering. Maybe we do it in a city where we could have live shows at night. Or maybe it's a camping event and we get back to the roots of what a community is about... a group of like-minded people in a circle around a fire.

I loved you guys. Very inviting; and the yard~ It is very well kept and beautiful~
Despite of having a great time meeting Gideon & Lou, (Miles) the whole trip itself turned out to be a terrible event that had my eyes soaked the whole way
going back home. I had to turn rihgt around and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done.
My girlfriend Linda lied to me about her identity. Age difference, morphality. When I met her at the door, we gave each other a hug very quickly and we both knew it was over just from that moment. I'm sorry for the AS 90210 here but I can't get this off my mind and I can't hide it since I'm back in Oregon now. Embarressing as this all is, Linda & I had already been making up lies about already having met each other at Bush int. airport etc... I told Gideon & Lou this along with all of my other friends & family; because it was our little secret.
And I feel like an asshole that I sat in the middle of the living room saying that to both you guys. lol... sorry. I even made myself sound like a badass a little...
Linda & I were both trying to save ourselves the trouble of people thinking "hmm, sounds like somethings' wrong" kinda thing- it ended up blowing up in my face.  It became a solid answer to a frequent question. "how did you two meet?" Yes, I met her on the net. And I should have known better but of course I was too trusting and I really care for her- Now I need to make some kind of new goals; everytime I make plans they go to hell. I guess I'll just go freestyle. (said the rebel)
Shit happens, she did it out of love and she couldn't stop herself.
At least I didn't drive off a cliff in Nevada on the way home.
I did also have a good road trip, it was just very lonely and it sucked.
I really like that AS annual event idea too.

oh man.  I wish you would have come back here - we would have loved for you to stay for a bit and shake off the blues.
Don't feel bad about the story you told us about meeting - it's something the two of you worked out and selected to believe in. While it may not have been true, the untruth was not harmful to anyone but the two of you. I can understand feeling odd about telling people that the two of you met online. Lou and I met at a bar when a friend of mine yelled out the window at her and her friend as they walked by the bar. To some people, the idea of meeting your loved one at a bar may sound trashy - but the story and the experience was perfect in my mind. I enjoy the randomness of the meeting.
So hang in there man - we're here for you - anytime. Don't get too down on yourself, there's a lot of potential in your future and right now it's about going through some experiences you didn't plan. I can tell you a few stories where I felt like I screwed up everything, felt like I didn't have a future and felt like I let everyone down, especially my family. Those were hard times, and it was the support of friends and family that helped me realize the problems weren't big enough to take me down.

you know, I really should have come back and saw you guys again but my mind was a haze and couldn't really think too much in particular except taking the shortest route home. Thank you though guys, we're already both feeling better now- time seems to heal all pretty good. I had quite a bit of time to think while driving, and what you just said Gideon is absolutely true and it keeps on proving itself when a person knows they can't stay depressed forever.
I'm lucky I feel because the feeling of depression for me is always short-lived due to my knack for day-dreaming. hehe... Linda is doing okay too, she just needs to talk with me every now and then to feel better.
ty doof~ I'll soon upload all the "good" photos of my trip as I have taken over 200 pictures that mostly have a car window with bug splatter all over the front window in the pics. I'll post onto the gallery very soon here but first I need to do other things first...
Oh yes, and I have to mention- Gideon gave me a FREE AS T-shirt and two bars of electronica soap, with a whole lot of Electronicscene stickers!! Lou gave me some free hugs too- So cool...
I also found where I had set Miles' dog treats... (passenger floorboard) I always forget where I put stuff even in a small space. grr...

And please don't feel bad for anything you said to us. Like Gideon pointed out...no harm, no foul. For a least a year after we met I used to beg him to tell people we met at a library...yes...a library. He would just laugh. Now, I laugh too. However, when people ask me I still say "oh, we met at a local bar AND GRILL."  And yes, time does heal. I'm glad you're feeling a little better already.
I still can't thank you enough for making such a huge detour to come meet us. If you ever do that again, please plan on spending some more time with us, ok? We'd really like that.
