I got some good feedback at IDMForums. The main complaint there was that the intro is too long before the beats kick in, which is predictable since most of the members there are young 'I want it now' spastic types.
I didn't want to lose any of the original tracks length, so I went with a weird psychedelic intro that gets moving a minute and a half in.
Bottom line is I never release anything I don't love, so for me it's a keeper.
Thanks for letting me remix this Steve, it was fun. Now it's back to trying to finish twenty of my own wips.

Ah, yes.... the over stimulated self-indulgent underachiever generation....

Pleasure was all mine, my friend. Your ability to connect the dots and create context out of chaos is unsurpassed.

Hey, this IS a great remix...I like what's going on in the background...(a lot)...
I always like hidden things in the background of a track; things you do noy notice or hardly notice the first 2 or 3 times you listen to a track...

BTW...that violin sound reminds me of something...

I think it's Beethoven in the movie 'Knowing', bit crushed, cut up and rearranged.

I read the part I sampled was Beethoven, but I personally think it sounds more like Debussy

This track is great.
I love the samples, and the long intro...
I have mixed it with Solar Storm by NeuralMan, and Solar Waves by Psidream for a set about solar radiation threats as part of the reactor meltdown sub-strand that it leads into. Rocking!
I get the impression you were perhaps working on this during the solar flare this year? I like electronic music about current events.
Keep going you guys!

Clever idea. Wish there a compilation from different artists about the suns positive and negative effects on our planet.

Actually no, I've been thinking about the suns role in climatic events for years now and decided to dedicate a single project to it. I'll do one song with one artist for 'Solar Research' any chance I get.
Thanks for the feedback.

I'd like to remix something you're proud of. It'll be easier to go crazy with it. Just pm me if you're interested.

I love those string sounds that run in the background throughout, adds quite the air of suspense about it. The rest of it falls into the 'I'm not qualified to say anything about it other than I like it' category. Got a nice energy to it. Good work.
Drug use for children has for many an education and with obvious alarm to both parents on the increase almost yearly.
