Hi all, we're doing well. Lou was in a lot of pain earlier today, but is feeling fine. The baby has a click in one hip, so he has to wear a hip brace for the 1st 3 mo. He'll, be ok.
His name is Gideon Andrew Marken V

Firstly, congratulations on your good news! Thats good to hear and I'm really happy for you
Its heartening to hear success stories where couples have taken the assisted route. Being in that category myself, (currently my wife Debs and I are involved in a cycle of IVF) I can appreciate the sense of joy in achieving this result. We are currently a few days off Egg collection, and coming to the end of the medication. Our situation is made a bit trickier due to Debs date of birth... and me working in another country, but hopefully we will achieve a positive result. It has been a rollercoaster what with one thing and another, but we're still on the track!
Anyway, I thought I'd share that with you, as I guess I share a similar experience, and well done again

Thank you to everyone for your congratulations and good thoughts! We are doing fine and learning so much every day. I'm pretty much falling more and more in love with my son by the minute!
S.A. Fred: it was all worth it! Two and a half years of shots and procedures, three different doctors, etc.... but here we are! We really had the odds stacked against us, too, so don't give up. I'm always here and willing to talk about everything we went through if you ever want to chat. I wish you two the best of luck, and don't give up! 
We'll post photos soon!
