Hey all, Resting Bell net label just released my new ambient album, Encounter Point. It's similar to my past Off Land EPs but the songs are a bit longer and I spent more time working on it. Let me know what you think.

this isn't the sort of stuff i normally listen to, but i did find it interesting... and certainly well-done. i've gone through it all about 2 times now while i've been working and it's slid right by without me taking much notice (ambient does that doesn't it? lol). occasionally i'd find myself leaving my work and spacing out... when i would i'd discover that there's a lot more going on in all of this than i initially noted. i'll download them all and give a few more listens. thanks

The first track I've heard before- nice to hear that again... I got through almost half of them, and will get through the rest, but very nice. I'm almost falling asleep because I just had a turkey subway sammich. hehe. Trench is reminding me of Themis's last composition... Of course yours differs with more of a melodic element attatched.
Strange strings... Interesting.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Yeah ambient music is really interesting in the fact that it's not made for direct listening. Instead it's made to make your mind drift.
I'm taking a break from pumping out ambient music now. I want to focus on Full-Source again. 3 eps, a single, and an LP isn't bad for 3 years. Then again I'm sure I'll release another ambient release within the next year.
oh and if you are at all curious about the other releases I mentioned... links: Rest EP Apt Path (ep) Ends EP Heliopause (single)
