Arpegallegiance
A set of notes run through an arpeggiator which were then tweaked using the sound source's settings and several effects to give it a well saturated sound.
Genre: ambient size: 12mb length: 8:28
Download: Arpegallegiance BY: Sonic Wallpaper Stream: Arpegallegiance BY: Sonic Wallpaper Song Page: Arpegallegiance
I recorded this yesterday, live in the studio, and have been considering adding other parts, but it seems to work well on it's own, so it's been released
Enjoy!

I like it most at around the 3rd minute and on. Then you can make an album with this arpeggiated ambience for 82 mnutes. It would be one of my most favorite albums..
Hey Gideon, why not adding some guitar on it. Do you have an e-bow? You know, the e-bow sound would fit here very much.

Nice and dirty, layers of effects and reverb does a lot to the mood, it's like looking into an infinite void... I like how you can't quite identify the actual source signal here, wild guessing as it's buried in effects! Enjoy all the subtle changes in timre with changes on attack values etc... Yes, lovely track Gideon.

Frode said it for me... This reminds me of traveling for those reasons.

I totally agree - in fact I just may drag the PRO-One out and use it a an uber-filter for some e-bow playing
Is that ok with you SW?

Yes - by all means! Anyone can use this as a sample or backing track, whatever
Just give credit
I was hearing something similar in the track - I don't have a ebow, but I was trying to play long sustaining sound washes using my guitar, distortion and delay - but it didn't come out very well.
My next thought was to add pads or a sustaining chant voice (using the virtual monk vst), but after listening a few times, I liked how the track left room for your mind to play those parts. Lou was hearing them too - like ghost notes lurking in the mix.
The synth was a Korg Prophecy
Thanks guys

agree with all of the above. works as is but would be a great basis for elaboration. maybe you should pursue some of those ghosts hanging in the air and do a set of variations
