Hi Sub...I will! (I asked for it, y'know...) In fact, I've already started a while ago...nothing serious, just trying to get a good feel of what I want to do with it.....
Again, no rush, no hurry....

I'll bite. Though what I end up doing to your samples may not be to your taste.

Yep, I'll finally have time to get it together very soon and you'll be the first to know. Thanks for the interest.

Very cool, reminds me of something noise unit would produce.
Dark brooding electronic music suits my tastes perfectly
Thanks for this.

Hey, no problem, man. Glad you like it. I did five different takes over the weekend and decided on this version. With the exception of the vocals (they were mixed in later in Sonar 6) it was all done in Reason 3. I used only the samples you provided (which I'm sure you can tell). I originally started out adding a whole bunch of my own KBoard playing and other samples thinking I'd make this huge track etc, but I decided in the end to strip it down to the mix you have here.
It was a lot of fun putting this together. I haven't made a track like that in a looooooong time.

Remixed! Its taken a while this one, been a bit tricky to nail. I got the bones of it done really quick, thought it was going to be a weekend turnaround but just couldn't get it to a stage where I was entirely happy with it. Massive resource for this track, could have produced a number of remixes! Once again I used only the sound sources provided, put through the reliably interesting filters of Audio Mulch. Its a dark minimal affair.... Hope you enjoy it!

BTW, nice version there StereoFect Enjoyed listening to that, nice direction.

Nice nice. Very dark and intense. You create some complex rhythms with lots of organic movement. Impressive.
Thanks for doing this Peter. Where can I download this btw?

Sorry about that, posted this quite late last night! I've created a new page which will feature all the remixes I'll do from now on, plus I'll upload my past remixes here as well.
Cheers, Pete
Glad you liked it

Lovely textures in this one Pete. Please tell us about Audiomulch - what does it do exactly?

AudioMulch... well its a great little program that can produce lovely textures I use it specifically to put sounds through, its got loop players and file players, these can go through bassline step sequencers (a bit like a 303) and through a multitude of filters. The nicest (darkest) one is the risset filter. But you can mangle it up through granulators, get all metallic autechre percussion through comb filters, get a nice bit of old school swirling through some phasers Lots of cool stuff. Its dirt cheap, $60 ish, but its powerful, excellent value for money! I wouldn't need to record any new material to be honest, I could pretty much make an endless amount of tracks with all the material I've got stored on my various backup CD's. Don't use my synths anymore! (I probably will at some point though ) Hence my remixing phase at the moment I used it for some Quadrant stuff...but we didn't use that particular track in the end. I put some of those field recordings of Broadmead in Bristol, put them through a risset filter and a delay...made it sound very dreamy and unearthly...I think I sent that one to you?
I also used it for my "Landforms Restructure" stuff, basically made a 40 minute EP from 3 tracks! Landforms Part 3/5/6. They all went through the mulch!
