Are you having any issues with the map or the editor?
When I'm doing screenshots, I open the console before starting a match, and type showhud, which hides the hud, this clears the screen and there's no weapon in hand, nor a hand. Now you can fly around and take screenshots with nothing in the foreground.
Sorry I didn't reply to your question about mapping for UT2D - the info for that is in the thread for that gametype over on the Unreal forums. If you want, open my UT2D map, and delete all but the UT2D blocking volumes, which define the game area, and use that as a template. The volumes have to be in the right location on the grid for everything to work properly. You'll also need the .u script file for UT2D, which is included in the download from the forum post that is linked to above.

Hi!
No, it's not the WAR-map yet.
It's a DM/TDM/Duel-map and yes, it's pretty big, therefore there are also 2 Manta's and a Raptor in it.
I think the layout and bot pathing are nearly done, a friend of mine is testing and we bot think it's fun to play, so now I'm focussing on the lighting, which is taking some time with a big level like this.
I'll let you know when the first public beta is released.
Speaking of beta's, I'll DL your latest soon and playtest it again, it's on UP, I guess (?)
BTW...I have started working on a Warfare-level, but only to learn how a basic WAR-map is made, so there's nothing interesting about it yet. (Apart from the fact that it works!) ;)
EDIT....O, and if I have some spare time, I'll take a look at the UT2D-posts.....
