Hi there Gideon,
I sent you a PM 2nd of December and an e-mail through your Artistpage but have received no reply so this my last hope? 
I would like to send you a $ 40 payment (it´s here in cash) for my annual subscription at AS
I previously had a paypal account but had problems transferring cash to it (lost money doing so) so i don´t use Pay Pal anymore and you don´t allow usage of a VISA card (right?) so cash is the only alternative?
Sorry to say, i´ve lost your home adress after moving to Norway but if you send me it to me via a PM i´ll send the $$.

Brillman - Sorry - i've been busy with work and your email of many days ago has simply fallen into the depths of the inbox.
I can't take outside payments for accounts any longer - I think you and possibly one other person are the only people who are not properly upgraded. I'll need you to pay via Paypal - they do offer a few options for payments - including charging via your Visa. you don't have to create an account with them.

Actually no - that doesn't give you a subscription - i'll have to refund your donation. I need to have you in the database and on subscription using the upgrade options in the My Account area.
You didn't see the option for the upgrade payment because I had to create a false record to generate your subscription previously - I'll also cancel your false upgrade so you can make a proper one.
Sorry it's complicated - but it's only complicated because you weren't in the same system as all the other upgrades.
I'll send you the correct link for upgrading once I've made the changes to your account.
Once this is done - you'll be on the automated system which bills once per year.

ok - you can now access the account upgrade button/page. It wasn't available to your because your account was listed as upgraded.
Your account is now back to a Freeware - so if you notice anything odd, that is why. I see all your songs are on your page - but other things like site stats, etc won't be active again until you reupgrade.

Is everything fixed or do i have to go through the procedure because on the page it only seemed to have a form applying for a Pay Pal account?
Just let me know as in my bank account the money is already resevered for the donation, will it get drawn a 2nd time??
So many questions so few answers???

You may have seen settings from your original upgrade.

If you did not run a transaction - then it's still not processed.

Just to make sure it's clear
1. you made a donation - that's a transaction
2. i then i refunded you payment - that's another transaction
3. still waiting for your upgrade payment
so yes, there will most likely be some issues if you only have $40usd in the account.

i can understand you being angry - but there's little i can do. I built a subscription system using the most popular online transaction company so it would be easy for the majority. It's 100% automated - so it takes no effort on my part to manage, which allows me to focus my time on managing the site and development. One of the main reasons ES ran into trouble in the past was due to a system that wasn't fully automated. You're account didn't originally display the upgrade buttons because your account upgrade had to be generated by hand and didn't have an expiration date. That upgrade has now been removed so you may upgrade using the subscription system.
I believe you may have to create a paypal account in order to have a subscription through their system. otherwise, they wouldn't be able to manage the subscriptions.

I´m not angry, just frustrated, just had a 2nd look and it seems as if i don´t fill in the form to add a subscription with Pay Pal nothing happens else when i press the upgrade button, so it seems as though the form has to be filled in for the transaction to take place ?
I´ll have a another go when i´m less tired, sorry.
I suppose i have 2 weeks to upgrade before the tracks and everything disappears right?
