on Test Tube, nice netlabel from Portugal (hi guys and gals by the way) you might want to release something there yourself.
anyway.
7 songs, 17 minutes. relatively old material, but i haven't got anything new
enjoy first half is light and dreamy, 2nd half is dark and depressed.

didn't feel like writing anything in 2006.. luckily 2007 it got better thanks to Background Radiation and a couple of remixes. So hopefully this year I'll write some real new M-P songs

(oh this bunch of songs will be new to most of you.. if you're in a hurry you can check Radio which is a real nice one aka almost perfect , the rest is quite sketchy, though Nate aka Mercurial is a HUGE fan of Frozen River )

Ludo, this is the cleanest production i've heard from you, and i love it. I love the build up in Radio, and the drop off. I'm psyched to hear the rest. So happy to hear new music from you. I'm not hearing many vocals though anymore, where'd they go? So far Frozen River might be my favorite. Congrats Ludo!

I already told Ludo that this EP is great bit it really is quite nice. His other EP "M" which came out last year is more vocal

Also our Background Radiation EP has vocals on every track. Hopefully that'll come out soon!

thanks for listening Erik yeah you're right 'bout the vox in those tracks.. i just didn't feel like singing those days i guess. (2005)
as Tim (full-source) mentioned.. the Background Radiation ep has a lot of vocals, if i may so some really cool "soul" melodies. heh.

I will reiterate my previously mentioned love of "Frozen River". So simple in its addition/subtraction structure, but so catchy. It sounds like the best of recent Eels, sort of.

I listened to this a month or so back and really found it captivating. Normally my ADD sets in and I start skipping through these kinds of tunes, looking for a crazy beat, but these were effectively mesmerising!
I know this may sound corny but you've come a long way since I last checked out your tunes.
Sorry for the bounce

LUDO! I hope you're still about and reading this. This EP is amazing! I second Send with the remark about how far you've come. You've lost the lo-fi vibe, but it works brilliantly. Fantastic EP. I tried the link to your older EP but it doesn't work anymore.

Whoops - missed this one. Having a listen to Frozen River (if its good enough for Ryan's mrs etc....)
I like it - you can tell immediately its coming from the heart. I love spainish guitars. Shame its so short - could have got into that for another minute or two.
This is a lovely EP - good for train journies.
