It's the day after our latest winter storm and you know, it really is beautiful to see all the fresh snow with the sun reflecting off it... especially at 8:00am. It's hard not to love winter when you look out and see scenes like this. I really do love winter!
It's hard to believe that that very sunrise, three months from now, will be rising between those two trees on the left after a long winter of rising behind the houses out of sight on the far right.
I also made a short (23sec) viddy so you can have a panoramic look around my neighbourhood at 8:00am.

I miss waking up in the morning to a blanket of snow. It is gorgeous!
Did you catch a train passing by in the distance?
I took two pictures of our yard to post...big comparison! It's about 80 degrees out here today.  But I need to upload the pics first.

Actually it's just parked at the time I shot dat shot. The railyard across the street is pretty quiet on Sunday mornings.

I can hardly wait for the temp to start climbin' up again. 'course we'll be complaining about the heat, but hey... that's our duty as citizens of the great white north.
