I remember a similar performance group in San Francisco years ago called 'Survival Research Labs' that used a massive Tesla coil, robots and explosives for their shows. Their leader Mark Pauline was missing fingers from some explosives going off in his hand.
Just watched these guys at the maker faire in san mateo. I saw them two years ago too... after you watch them once; for me it's kinda like "Meh..."
I've been spoiled I guess. I wanna see MORE TESLA COILS!! make a mother ship above their heads and have a "Death Ray" ...
They need to get going on some new sounds like vaporizing tin inside of conduit for reverb. I should contact them and tell them to get their act together.
