Ok....now how do you keep things simple when making music? I always have problems doing that, even when I decide to make something minimal.....

I had an english teacher in high school who told us when writing a story it should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover everything, but short enough to be interesting.
I've found this can apply to most anything you do, including music... though, as most of you know, I rarely use it myself....

The same philosophy also applies with minimal as with remixes. you have the creative freedom to half-ass things

Thanks, guys, I'll do my best..but hey, I can't promise to come up with something minimal....
It's a bit weird, though, I do like to listen to minimal things, but when I'm in the studio myself I always tend to throw new things into the mix..... So....after all these years I still have to learn a lot....

Try Moonbell.

Hint: record the MiDi stream into your DAW.
