Just got Nanoloop 2.2

This short improv is the result of my first attempt to "do something with it" using three tracks, tweaking the params on-the-fly and recording it all in Audacity.

I give you...

Very neat! That's different. That had a lot of great effects; the balls that thing projects... Very Happy

I am totally blown away by this program. It really is a unique and totally trippy lil' bit o' kit.

I know this track is pretty basic stuff. All I did was patch the gameboy into my Soundcraft FX8 mixer so the FX (delay/reverb) are courtesy of Lexicon.

For 8 bit stuff I think it sounds pretty good....

I'm having such fun with this thing. It fits in perfectly with my current headspace. And you can get all sorts of sounds, even some really good drum loop type stuff out of this thing too. And when you mix it with other synths and sequencers, it's sounds really great. And picking it up and playing it, like you're playing a video game, is great fun.

Very Happy:

"That Zelda?"

"No, Nanoloop"

Hardware = Fun

Of course it also = $$$

But, hey... we each get off in our individual ways, eh?

What a cool track Smile I think you choice a great name for it as well. It sorta reminds me of Blue whale song a bit--mainly the "clicks" and moans--what a great way to create unique sounds. I will have to check out Nanoloop. I wonder if Nintendo ever thought there latest creation would be an insturment? Smile

Very cool indeed, look forward to hearing more of the same music...
