Pretty awesome, thanks. I could spend hours there, which is a bad thing
My wife is a sixth grade school teacher and will be showing that to her kids as soon as the new year starts.

that looks fun too - much more free form.
Sub - I didn't know she was a teacher! Did you or she know that I was very close to being an elementary school teacher too? I did all the coursework for a teaching credential, then went on to get a Master's in Education, but when it came time to do student teaching, I was so stoked on the Web, that I never made it to student teaching and ended up scoring a consulting job. Have you ever visited her class? I sure miss working with kids - but I can't stand the educational system.

I think you mentioned that on the phone once Gid. I'm glad that you chose programming over teaching though, otherwise we would have never met and this great site would have never been built

If so, wow. You've actually done a really good job. Like most online artists, I've had my share of artist pages on music sites... this one actually provides the sorts of features I'm interested in, plus, perhaps more importantly, it seems to have a really good reputation as a website, pulling a regular stream of active listeners who are interested in underground type stuff.
And even if it was someone else who's responsible for this site, everything in the previous paragraph still applies.

Sub - I tend to feel programing selected me - it was such an accident, I had zero interest in it, and to this day, I still have no education in programming. Some mornings I'm staring at a screen of code and think.... "Ok... WTF happened!" I have a feeling if I understood more about what I was going to attempt, that I might not have done it. So here's to being oblivious!
>>>You guys are the ones who built this site?
While the site is a collection of the community, yep, I planned, built and manage the site and get a lot of love and support from friends and family. We have no staff here at ArtistServer, no corporate agenda, only a passion for creativity and creative people

Thank you so much It's important to me that people appreciate the site and can see that it's not the same as other music sites.
I was talking w/ Lou the other day, mentioning how I used to throw a LOT of parties when I was in high school and connecting that to today, and how I'm still throwing a party, it's just that this one doesn't stop!

That should have read "I'm glad you chose programming over teaching, otherwise you never would have built this great site and we never would have met"
I wish I had a hand in building this crazy contraption, but we must thank Gideon alone

Yup, I remember ElectronicScene back in 1898. The war had been over for a while, and the Robber Baron shit was just getting out of hand. It was one of those new-fangled revelations to all us classical composers. You can put music online and chat with other musicians... weird. Than came WWI and all hell broke loose. But the music just kept flowing!

Gid should be a legend for keeping this ship afloat for so many years and actually growing!

Gideon... can you please show me the 3 pieces to your design?

ack - so sorry Danny, I meant to click on 'quote' and accidentally hit the delete post button- sorry!
Here's you post... ===================== DannyK: Well - I'm stuck on unpossible.
Done the rest though.
=====================
and now for the reply
Congrats man - nice! I've done only a few, i've mainly looking at the solutions people have posted - i love seeing the variations. For the one you are stuck on... the solutions I've seen that work focus on a vehicle design with a rope - hope that helps without telling you too much.
