I've been all stoked about this new track I've gotten mastered very well; to say the latest.
Once again it draws those lush percussive elements I love so much! I can't wait to finish it, but I'm only one minute in. ... ...
And I'm trying to take my time on this one. Hopefully I can kick off my rushing tendancies and really let this one out as it goes because it's one heck of a fun groove...
I'm working on it right now actually.
I also just ran a 10k race just an hour ago in the park; got 9th place.

Shhhh... be verwy verwy quiet. I'm hunting wabbits!!!

Actually I'm working on one of these.
I hope to have a finished version (built into a clear/translucent type VHS tape box) soon. I'll have a blue LED inside the box to light it up and allow you to se the guts inside when it's power'd on.

Looking good indeed but wtf does Zanyiness, wackyness or crazy do?? No mp3 samples? Maybe upload something when you´ve built it?
Apart have been busy with making loads of tracks and not knowing what to do with them?! And when i say loads i mean loads!! Heheh...
Also just bought the rest of the house so we now have loads of room/space for long visits from friends/relatives & the cozy home studio is 90% finished.

You're working on only ONE track at once?
I wish I could say that...on the other hand...this is the way I work, working on loads of tracks at once...

Actually the site does have mp3 samples on it, just have to look closer for them since it's a very long page. Sounds like a really cool and fun project!
I've been distracted from music making by designing things. I'm working on a small electric vehicle type thing and I've also been designing a, hopefully self-sustaining, low-cost community housing project. It will use solar power for heat and electricity.
If I ever come up with an idea that no body else has, I'm thinking of patenting the idea/s and giving it/them a creative commons builders license, then share the idea/s with others.
Hopefully all my experimenting will turn into something big someday instead of just being something I will constantly be spending my money on.

There's lots of sound samples on the page. I recommend this one. It's prob'ly the best one. The others give you a good idea of its capabilities as well.

Yep. I sometimes go back & forth between two, but I am really working good on this one.

Yeah, but don't forget we're not the only ones...
Personally I don't get distracted so often, it's just I'm interested in many styles of music. And not only music...but lots of other things too (like 3d and/or gamedesign).
Sometimes I'm in my studio and say to myself: this evening I'll finally finish this DnB-track, and after half an hour I find myself working on a new soundscape.....
The result is a huge, and I mean HUGE amount of unfinished music....

Well I too am guilty of a damned mess of unfinished tracks on the desktop. If you guys looked at my screen you'd probably shutter and shake your head. It's a damn mess. I would clean it if the thing wouldn't take so freaking long to transfer files (and to open them) but I've had to change the screen resolution (remember, this computer is now ten years old) to a wider display so I can see all the files I scattered across the desktop.
Kinda like my room sometimes; easy to clean, but it's so easy I'll do it tomorrow.
Time- we have it...
Let's just say we did and forget it.

I've been juggling a few things like remodeling my master bath, installing a security cam system at my house, working fifty plus hours at work and working on five different tracks in rotation.
Things are good.

Haha... we just reno'd our bathroom this past December. New everything. What I thought would be the most difficult (replacing the toilet) ended up being the easiest. It had been there for more than fifteen years (and looked it too) and we didn't know what me might find when we removed the old one. But all was fine. Old one out, new one in... tickity boo. It was almost too easy.

I've been too busy and too out of it lately.
Been spending a lot of time thinking, working, and trying to figure out where this year will lead me.
Things are going well, however, just a little unsteady. The yard is really enjoying all of the rain we have received in San Diego so far this year. Everything is green and strong and happy...so a lot of my current inspiration has come from our yard. I could spend an entire day out there with my camera!
I've also been reading as much as I can, which is a real treat. It's such a guilty pleasure to just sit in the fading sunlight and enjoy a good book while sipping an ice cold beer. Yes!
The pups are doing well. If they could type I'm sure this board wouldn't have been so quiet lately. The would love to share all of their doggy gossip about the neighbors, that little Terrier bitch down the street, and the evil mailman. We're still working on their socialization skills, but then again, I'm still working on my own, too.
So it sounds like we have all just been doing too much...which isn't really quiet at all...just quiet 'here'.

The new toilet will be last on the list, and yeah, I've heard it's the easiest part of a bathroom remodel.
We've gutted the entire thing, including drywall. It'll most likely be a nightmare but once done will be worth it.
