Co-worker of mine shot this pic after work recently.
Turned out real good!!
Her body's only about a centimetre in length, so she's pretty small. But looks awesome in this pic. She'd been hangin' out in the upper corner of the bus shelter across from work and my co-worker thought she'd make a good subject for a photo. She had babies a couple days after this shot was taken. She's gone now.

Some of them can get about 2.5cm in the body. When they're an inch long like that they scare the hell outta ya. Whenever you walk through one of their webs--usually in the early morning--you invariably end up with one suddenly appearing on your arm or shoulder. Everyone goes...  when they look down and see one of those crawling on them. Arms start swingin' around like their hair's on fire.
You get some really cool stuff around your area too, Gideon. Do those spiders bite?
And wasn't it you that had the scorpions in your house?
We get these little Black Footed spiders in our houses up here. Maybe up to about 2cm in length. Noctural things. Give a nasty bite if they crawl under the covers with ya.
Nothing poisonous... that I know of. Unless you're alergic, of course.
