My impressions. Though dry I do not mean as an attack, just personal note of various obscurity.
Since you note it as "original edit" I'm supposing some expectoration of future dementalment
The initial thrust is an attack of drumbreak which carries through the piece. An intriguing punctuation is made by the modulated buzzy patch which unfortunately also persists but maybe this is the lead that emphasizes the theme of reality suckiness. However if the form and attitude is the message and it is meant to say 'reality sucks" then this is too cheerful. Fact is there is much of reality that does not suck and all we need is a vacation or escape to perhaps give us fresh perspective. When we return we can be charmed by new discoveries we may have otherwise disregarded.

I liked it too-- just a bit repetative with the main synth. I love the percussion, very tasteful.

I like it. Abstract and fast and funky usually does it for me. My only complaint is that towards the end I wanted more of the dynamic stuff, but you know me...

yeah I'm not feeling the synth either. the percussion is good as usual, I like the glass-sounding addition to the percussion. the rave-like section cracked me up.
I think Brainbelly put it pretty well.

Sorry you don't like the synth either....the 2nd version which I wrote about is a bit shorter, which also means in this case you get to hear 'that' synth less...
(Which is a pity, in my opinion)
BTW....the shorter version was already done before I uploaded the first, which means I didn't shorten it for those who don't like it...
