Big Tarantino fan. I think he's a tortured genius.

I think you summed him up quite well.
I think he's a genius, even though I can't sit through most of his films. I only made it through the first two minutes of Kill Bill. And I know a lot of people think Reservoir Dogs was his ultimate film, but honestly, I loved Pulp Fiction. How cliche! I don't care. It is one of the best films ever made in my opinion. I also loved From Dusk till Dawn, even though it was a little heavy on the cheese factor. Of course, Natural Born Killers was an amazing film when it first came out, and I guess it still stands up to the test of time. And then there was Four Rooms...did you recommend that on the board? I can't remember, but someone did and we rented it and laughed our asses off!
Tarantino is definately someone I would love to talk to, tortured though he may be...

Four rooms wasn't my recommendation, I've never even seen it. I love everything he produces though, and hope he never goes away.

Four Rooms starred a lot of cool people, but mainly Tim Roth...who I happen to have a small crush on. And it sounds to me like you have a bit of a 'man crush' on Quentin. That's OK, he's worthy. And as far as art and artists go, I don't think you have to worry...his legacy will live on.

KICK ASS!
Thanks for reminding me constantly of why I adore you, Kylo! I don't think I will ever forget the 'lighter scene'...just fabulous! And I remember really liking Antonio Bandara's acting in that film, which just proves right there that Tarantino is a genius!

I liked Jackie Brown, but it was a little slow in parts.
I think he was trying out a different style.

yeaa.. it was better than the kill bill movies. those were ruined because of uma thurman.. all throughout the movie characters kept going on with things like "she's so beautiful'' while i thought to myself ''umm no she isnt?". Then others talking of how tough she was.. but.. yknow nvm..
