that's a character from the video game mortal kombat named 'barakka'.

Sorry i don't mean to offend anyone who voted for obama. Just standing back & looking at this presidential campaign it seems like all it really did was tear the country in half, almost literally if you look at the polls (not the electoral though..). I know i've heard lots of arguing and debate everywhere i went in life, which led to more arguing and debate about everything else. To be honest i didn't vote or really follow any of it, aside from checking the news every few months.

Us Canucks were paying VERY close attention to what was going on with our neighbours to the south. An enormous amount of discussion took place. Myself and everyone I've spoken to so far today are very happy with the results. We all feel the right choice has been made.

Cool, right on.

I hope you guys feel the same way...!

Unfortunately for Barack...

worse? you do know that the Onion is a comedy/joke news site right?

BTW - you gotta vote, but first you need to be informed on the topics or people on the ballots. We both voted for Obama in our house, and we're optimistic that there will be change for the good.

I'm just really bummed that Prop 8, the ban on Gay Marriage didn't loose. Equal Rights For Everyone!

Good for you Gideon. You too, Lou...!!

Cool, right on.

Sorry to hear about Prop 8. That sort of thing is not an issue up here. Used to be, but hasn't been for quite a while now. That's not to say the ol' "Everyone is equal, just some of us are more equal than others." mantra isn't being practised on a daily basis. It is. I don't think any society will ever be free of that particular syndrome until the password to the switch that turns that wonderful feature off is cracked.

Re: The Onion.

They come close to crossing the line on occasion, but I think the stuff they publish is hilarious.

Re: voting

I think it's important to vote. But not everybody has to. And as long as enough people do then that's good enough for me.

Hellsion....

No doubt revolution is gonna happen. Unfortunately it's gonna come at a price. And it's gonna be painful for a lot of people.

There's two things I can't stand in this world: Inequality, and gays... (this is a joke- so it's kinda funny)

What's pathetic is that this is what America is making relevant to everyone-- It's okay to say we are all equal as long as there's a vote that says so. This is thee dumbest and backward belief that catches everyone's attention to this day and now more than ever it's smacking them in the face. The constitution states it, why can't people follow it? It's called ignorance.

I voted Obama and no on 8. This isn't america when people can't be given the same opportunity to form a family and make their own decisions on their own beliefs.
I'm not going to live paranoid all my life; it's rather unhealthy.
"Energizer bunny arrested- charged with battery."

Intolerance and inequality... the hallmarks of humanity.
