Not bad - sometimes I think midi lends itself a bit better to chamber set ups as opposed to this full on orchestral stuff -- but its a pretty good stab at what would be a highly dramatic piece of music.
I often post music I've done like this on this board:http://acf.finalemusic.com/who might be able to give you more in the way of criticism for this particular style. Personally I like the piece but find it a little generic here and there for my personal tastes in this style. Would work well in a Peter Jackson film! See you in Hollywood!

Sounds good to me, very epic and dramatic! I'm definatly reminded of Lord of the Rings, as mentioned previously! I'm not really up on this kind of music in a technical sense, so I can't give you much of a detailed critique other than I think the composition works very well, nice build ups and, powerfull crecendos and nice quiet moments. I think sonically it suffers from sounding a little MIDI-fied, as mentioned previously, some of the strings decay poorly, just don't sound natural...and overall I guess the sound needs a little more sonic range, but that said it does sound excellent, and as far as orchestral goes, it ticks all the boxes Nice one
Cheers, Pete

Compositionally this is lovely - nothing starkly original, but definitely very competent. Are you planning on having it arranged for actual instruments at any point?
