Chaos and beauty

Life is a gift and there's so much to be grateful for. Along with fear and chaos comes beauty and appreciation for great things. Chogyam Trungpa said that with chaos comes beauty, so where there's a lot of chaos there's a lot of beauty also.

I've had a lot of chaos today. Last night I had a dream that I went to hell and became the devil's pet. It was awful--the most awful dream I've ever had. Today was filled with nothing but fear. But along with the fear came beauty. I saw things clearly, and I was spurred to do more good work for the sake of everybody.

I suppose I can expect more days like this, with my schizophrenia. But whether I am comfortable or uncomfortable, I can still expect to see more of the dharmakaya as it arrives. We'll just have to see what happens next.
This life is a joke, and nobody's laughing.
