Had to step out for a bit but am back and thankin' ya'all for postin'.
Yep, more than likely I'm the old dude here but, that's cool cause mileage means experience right.
I have been knockin' around on the frets of many a guitar for 52 years now and still tryin' to figure the dang thing out!
I will now make it a point to visit each of your sites and over your tunage!
Thanks Friends,
Doc

Welcome Doc! Nice to see a real down to earth blues soul here on the server. Maybe some Blues Deluxe Show folks will truck on in and make a mark too. The tech here is top notch and if there is some function you'd like to see implemented give Gideon a holler. Maybe you have noticed the "Stations" area. These have both playlist and "podcasting" attributes. Would like to know how comfortable you are working in the administration area. In addition to all the other features of the site I think the artist admin area really shines. Wow! you have your tunes up at 320kps! Sweet!

Hey Brother Brainbelly, Sup man?
Oh, no doubt man, I will get to the stations and podcasting as soon as I get another 20 to 30 jams loaded up! I will as well put CDs and all kinds of cool stuff on site for all the good peoples!
Ever since I moved on the bank of the lake here at Lamar Point, Texas I have been on what is known as Wild Blue Satellite and things just aren't like they were with my Cox High Speed Connection Cable when I was closer to the other peoples ova yonder! The sacrifice is well worth the loss though!
I love the site and the functionality of everything I have used so far. I'm sure all is going to be just peachy after seeing how well the tools I have used so far have done.
I was totally unaware of AS until a cat dropped a link just two days ago! I came to take a peek I figured, man, this is lookin' mighty fine and looks like a good home for this Blues cat!
I'm sure you know I'm on over 200 omds and do good on most of them but I'm diggin' this joint to the hub man! I really like how it works so clean and easy!
I did notice that the Blues genre was tied in with the Jazz genre and that will stop some Blues cats from comin' ova but it don't bother this ol' dude at all!
Admin section RAWKS Bro. I dig the single page with all my links on it to do anything I need to do. 1st one of this kind for me!
Thanks for the welcome Brother and you be cool, ok!
..................
Hi louwhoz, thanks for the welcome and I hope my tunage is up to par with what you and your family dig! Good to digitally know you!

Yes - I'm not promoting and doing PR as much as I should - I feel it's part of my job, but being a developer, I tend to just keep coding

you are right - and I just finished branching Blues off to it's own area - so Blues is all collected under the Blues name:

how cool... the Blues is ID 13

As soon as I get the house fixed up like I want it, I will get started on that promo thing you mentioned. It's cool with me and I like sharing da' good wit' my Brothers & Sistas'
Good move on the genre split man! That will help make things RAWK now!

Great blues.
Makes me feel like I'm either in New Orleans or in the movie 'Barfly'.

very tasty blues. you've carved out a great style from some great influences - and, man, with the blues there's thankfully no shortage. particularly liked I'm Down Down Down.
did you play at Crossroads?

I sure hear that. the digital world is amazing, BUT there's nothing like holding that g in your arms and playing.

Thanks to everyone!
Thanks to all of you that went and listened to this ol' Blues dude pick a tune or two, I think you and am thrilled with your remarks.
Good to meet two more new friends here, (Subtronik and Michael Chockolak).
I met up at the Crossroads Concert with Pat St.John, (long time friend of mine) of Sirius Satellite Radio (Blues 74) as well as ate lunch with Mr. Honeyboy Edwards and Mr. Robert Lockwood! Some very cool cats to say the least man!
I played some tunes for The Fender Co. and The Martin Co. for folks while I was there also! Had a blast man!
Robert Randolf simply blew me away! WOW! I have been working with my Sho Bud ever since I saw him!
Loved the concert and all the action!
I have listened to some tunes in the last two days that some of you have on your pages. Loved them and made comment on them!
I will listen to all of you as time permits. I promise that, ok!
Tomorrow I hit the road for 5 maybe 7 or I now hear ir could be as many as 10 days. I'll let you know as soon as I am back, ok!
Again, thank you all so much for making me feel at home here. So cool of you all! I will take your remarks on the road with me this run and build everything I do around them. That's the way Blues peoples do, ya' know!
Much Respect,
Doc "MistaBluesman" Quinn
EDIT: Dang, I forgot to tell you that I will load up many, many, many more tunes as soon as I can. Maybe when I return!

hope ya have a good trip.
as far as giving a listen... I think a lot of the tracks I've got here fit the blues, but only in a VERY abstract, universal way. my guitar tracks are here; acoustic at the top, strange in the middle, electric at the bottom.
looking forward to more of yours when you get back
