That's insane! The geometry on it seems to be perfect! What a cool find- it looks like it's changing history already from the sounds of it.

Calcium & lime deposits~ It has been there for quite some time... It's funny, the titanic looks the same, except I would suppose the mineral formation must go further into the object the longer underwater. Because after all, Titanic still had its iron-frame and what not...
I wonder what it was made from way back?

It's kinda wierd in a way. It must have been a one-of-a-kind sort of thing, 'cause nobody knew what it was, nobody had ever seen one before, it took forever for them to figure out what the heck it was/is and there seems to be no mention of it historically by anybody by anywhere. 
Still... it's a damn fine piece of toolology, no?
