I Finished College!!!!!

I realize it's a funny time of year to graduate, but I finished in the Summer term and got the notification my degree had been sent. Just wanted to let everyone know, I now have a bachelors of science in music technology from the University of Oregon!!! WOO!

Excellent news!
I still recall walking out of my last exam at San Diego State. I was about 20 feet away from the building and I stopped and looked around the school, and thought... "so that was it eh?"

I just got mine too. I actually graduated in May, but it took me a few extra months to get my diploma. long story short: I accidently got an F in an essential class, so my teacher agreed that she'd change my grade if I e-mailed the work to her. So I did, but she still didn't change my grade all summer. Eventually, I discovered that my teacher DIED the day before I e-mailed her my work. weird.

Man... some of you all have been here for the full 5 years... now everyone is graduating, and the people 1 generation above them are having kids right and left. It's nice to see that people are going through their life changes, and still find the time to visit here.

I'm in the same boat as you nate. I remember hitting up mp3.com like crazy at highschool and getting in trouble for taking up too much of the student hard disk space with mp3 files. heehee, everyone one day was really angry and I just waltzed into the computer lab and sat down at a certain spot... logged in as usual. I then heard a bunch of people talking and arguing about they can't do this or that because the system was really slow and they searched where all the memory went and saw that I had the biggest chunk in my account so they banned me. 
I was instantly the enemy in that place as they were all late for finishing their auto-cad projects etc...
Knell, that's very weird!
Ya know, I had a symphonic band instructor that gave me an F because she didn't know my name- yet I was in her class and I was always attentive. She called me Keelee and she just "forgot" that I was in her class so she gave me an F; I then went and spoke with her and she said, "Oh you're that boy that... oh that one?"
I started laughing and I said "I am one of your percussionists!!!"
Sure enough she said that it would be changed right away... couple months go by and nothing. I eventually got it changed but only by harping her about it.
I'm so glad that I'm done sitting in the back of those dumb boring concerts for woodwinds & brass anyway; we used to get so bored we would throw pennies at/near her to see if she noticed. hehe, she was sooo cenile.

Knellotron, that is the most bizzarre story I've ever heard,  lol. congrats to you too.
It's funny remembering when I first joined the board too, and how awful my music was. I think my first post was when I was 17 and now i'm 23, thats crazy. Meeemorries...
