I put this 18:33min song together last year as a submission for a film about the summer solstice that apparently never got off the ground, or at the very least has yet to see the light of day (or should I say dawn?). In any case as a result I've decided to share it with you lot. It's simply a quiet ambient piece that was designed around the theme of renewal and birth of a new season. I think it works but I'll let you decide that for yourself.
So... having said all that... here 'tis:

Summer Solstice (sunrise mix) 18:33 @ 128kbps

Download it
Hope you like it...

Thanks. Sorry it's not your thing, but I truely appreciate you taking the time to check it out as I really do value your insight and input into what I create. I hope it didn't amount to eighteen minutes of your life you'll never get back.... so to speak...

Not at all....
The main pad would be the Korg X5D. But it gets layered with the Alpha Juno as they're both set up and programmed in a way that one compliments the other. I can massage the Juno with my left hand wilst tickling the X5D with my right hand. The tinkly winkly drums are, of course, courtesy of the AN200 and I have my Map1 midi arppegiator setup to control the TG-33 and start/stop the AN200. So it all tends to blend together once it hits the mixer and has EQ & FX added to it... but overall I'd say the pad is definitely the X5D.
It's wierd making music anymore as it just feels as though I'm playing into a vaccum. There's no place in town to do shows/sets anymore as the only venue burned down about three years ago and hasn't been replaced. But my mantra still remains... plug it in, turn it on, make it happen.
Anywho... thanks for listening.

It's okay, man. I mean I'd love for you to hear it, but if you can't D/L it don't worry 'bout it. I understand. It's a BIG file.
