Gideon Noticing your forum post on your grandfathers birthday visit, I'm wondering if you cut and pasted from your blog or were you able to just cite the url and embed that way?

I write in notepad - set it up for the forums using the [ img ] tags around the images.
Then I modified the text in notepad to use html tags - then when I went to post in the blog - there's an icon to toggle from text to WYSIWYG mode it's on the top right of the editor, and has <> on it.
After pasting my post in, I toggle it back, clean up the linebreaks, and post it.
There's an image icon on the editor too - but it pulls up images from the 'files' area. I'll have to work on changing it so it pulls from your photos and directly embeds the medium size.

Ok, so I guess you dont have a secret way that pulls in the rss. I was looking for a quick easy way to syndicate blog entries into the forum. Not too much work as you describe though. Thanks for the details.

i use find/replace to make replace the forum tags w/ html tags - so it's fairly quick.
To get the image urls - i right clicked on the 'medium' link buttons next to the images I wanted - and copied the link location.
