Me likey!

I also listened to the rest of the tunes you have up and certainly all four are worthy of a big Cool, right on.

"Hostility" would be my pic as overall fav.

Into VAC at all?

They did a really good remix of the NIN tune Survivalism here that I think you'd like. I can easily see Hostility getting remixed like that. KWIM. Relentless 4/4 kick/snare line running throughout the tune to give it momentum? Well that's what I would do to it anyway...

I don't know 'bout you....

Anywho...

cheers

Ha, I thought you ripped off 'Schnitt Acht - I Don't Think So' when the song first started. Find it and listen. You'll be suprised at how similar the intros sound Smile

Anyway, This is your best work to date, by far. Gritty, hard and driving. The sound quality is very good too, which shows me you've finally found the importance of high quality audio. Very creative, has a good flow, and paints a nice industrial picture. Good work.

What soundcard are you using btw?

yea i still have slash & burn. hmm yes 'i dont think so' does sound very similar in the beginning.. although what they used sounds more like a poly-six/ ms20 type synth. im still using the realtek ac97, which is 48khz sound but yea im in need of a replacement. i keep getting hit with unexpected bills. like last friday an insurance screw-up that costed me like $300 so now ive got like $10 to make it to next wednesday. anywayss.. what would you recommend? i also planned on getting a head unit of some kinda to plug my guitar and other recording devices into. that is the downside of this realtek soundcard.. it doesnt handle analogue very efficiently. um hey have you heard of a prong cd called 'rude awakening'? just try & block 'snap your fingers snap your neck' out of your head..

annd stereofect, checkin out this remix. nicely done.. never heard of VAC thoughh. perhaps im just still behind the times. it would be cool if someone remixed 1 of my tracks although no one has yet been able to. several musicians who werent all that great tried and ran into 1 dead end after another trying to figure out my unusual flow. i learned a lot though from a style of music which youd probably never guess..
Jazz! which is all about what you dont hear.. and dont expect. the music behind the music, and the proper mood. ever hear of miles davis? Wink

anyways, thanks for checkin out 'hostility' Smokin'!

Loved Ministry up to Psalm 69, then they went too metal for my tastes.

the video is still good, haha. umm i liked "the mind is a terrible thing to taste". although it always kinda seemed like half of their music really wasnt worth listening to. 'cannibal song' for instance

Did you give them a remix pack or were they trying to re-make parts of your songs?

Hostility was good, and I think it could turn into an interesting breakbeat track very easily. I'd like to remix a bunch of people's stuff, but I find it hard enough to find time to record my own stuff that I've come up with.

if youd like to try i could upload a few samples from it & post them in this thread. i was listening to some of your songs earlier.. nice rythm and percussions. the notes also hit a similar chord to some of the songs i havent put on artistserver. there was actually a track i believe i could remix..
