Alright you put the cap on this one!
I already have this on my mp3 playa though... due to a leaked source...
Hey, I greeted Tay Zonday with a group of people at my work last night. Just a normal short dude with a really deep voice.

Tay Zonday? Yeah, very special voice.... I really loved Chocolate Rain (did a remix of that one once).

I like it. Very fat synth bassline/lead ya got goin' on there. Hardware or software??
Reason I ask is it sounds like a Prophecy or at least a really good emulation of one?

Doesn't matter if it isn't. I've been wanting one of those synths for a loooong time. Really dig the sound. Would make a perfect mate for my Alpha Juno.
Anywhosers.... good track. Nice and sparse and phat, baby... phat..!!

Kylo - did you say hi to Tay? I always wonder if he heard my mix - I'm sure there are 100's of versions out there. Thanks for the listen
a leaked source... yeah, this was an old one that has been around, unfinished for more than a year.
>>> Hardware or software??
it's software - 3 different synths, a free VST called MiniMogue VA, Absynth 3.0, and a free VST called Richman-2
>>> Prophecy... Really dig the sound. Would make a perfect mate for my Alpha Juno.
Yes, quite an amazing sound on the Phophecy - I just wish I had more time and ability to program my own patches. The stock patches are amazing - but they sound like the Prophecy.
>>> Anywhosers.... good track. Nice and sparse and phat, baby... phat..!!
Glad you enjoy it. I didn't think I'd every finish it. I opened it the other day and altered the ending, the drums in the break down sections, and adjusted the levels - and suddenly, it sounded complete.

Well, when Tay came walking in and out he had a bunch of people and they were in deep conversation. He said thank you very much while walking at a sense of urgency and then ski-daddled. If we did get a chance to talk I would have given him the link for sure.

Sure!
do you want the synths rendered out? separately, together? This was done in acid - i maybe be able to export the midi.

I prefer to have them seperated as WAVs or AIFF. And also the MIDI-files if that's possible.....

Bulky track!
I might have a go at remixing this too if you don't mind. I haven't remixed in ages. I liked it enough to listen several times.
I will teach you the significance of insignificance

I'll launch the remix using our new Projects feature on ArtistServer - which will 'manage' the remix project. I found a few bugs that I have to fix first - I hope to have this rolled out in a week or so. I'll have the virtual synths rendered as separate tracks

I like it, especially the sci-fi funk lead part. The sound quality seems a little cloudy, not like your other recent releases.

Thanks man

could be the reverb on the drums - I usually don't use any on a whole loop, i'll cut the snare and put it on it's own channel - but in this case, the drum loop isn't cutup so much and there's reverb on that channel. I prob could use some EQing on the virtual synths, all 3 patches were quite thick on their own.

It's just not bright as your other stuff. I thought it was my system at first.

I wouldn't call that beat huge....personally its a bit middle of the road.
Not really into this one. Much prefer Electro Parade!
